Category 5 Hurricane Dorian devastated The Bahamas. The WCK began cooking hot meals in Nassau – about 80 miles away – that were flown over to makeshift shelters, healthcare facilities, churches, and local neighbourhoods in Abaco. In Grand Bahama, established a second kitchen to provide lunch and dinner to impacted communities. Serving 30,000 daily meals, served more than 1 million meals in just over 5 weeks. Over the next few months, WCK continued to adapt to the situation delivering meals by land, air, and sea.
